July the 25th, 2012Okay, so... my computer broke so I've spent the past two weeks at my parents' place in the country side. And thanks to this fact I had a chance to go to our summer cottage and do some doll photography. Ever since I served as an assistant to *
yenna-photo with her siren shoot, I've been thinking I could soak Nyx into the water 'cause her stringing is loose and her sueding + bodyblush need to be redone... so there's no need to worry about ruining brand new stringing with water or the like. I've just been so lazy, and also busy with school, that I haven't gone to the nearby lake. And, well, exploring new waters is always a bit exciting. :'D; But now I finally managed to try this in a familiar lake...
First I tried serene and elegant, but that just wasn't working. So I went with the usual messy hair look. x'D Nyx herself hates tangled hair, but what can I do when she makes it look so damn good...
Nyx is a Soom Vesuvia and belongs to me.

Yeah, the colours match pretty well... I'm glad that I went with this wig. I figured that a lighter coloured dress needs a darker wig, as I tried the light gray wig first but it wasn't really working.
Character-wise she would never show herself with messy hair (she can spend hours to make sure that her hair is absolutely perfect and sometimes she combs it just for fun while admiring herself in the mirror) but that's just a minor detail... x'D I like playing with her hair a bit too much I guess, ahah.
